Wow! Thanks to everyone who came along and took part in the village’s fundraising quiz on Friday night for the shop. It was such a good night. With 14 teams taking part, the hall was buzzing.
Thanks to Steve Belt our quizmaster, and to everyone who donated raffle prizes, in particular The Ring o’Bells, Half Moon and Thornes Farm shop. And a thanks to all those who helped on the night, setting up the hall, selling raffle tickets and running the bar.
Village events are a great team effort, but even more so this time with the Parish Hall floor project going on. We really appreciate the efforts of Roy Clayton and his team of helpers in getting a floor down in time.
